InvoLane provides e-invoicing readiness and compliance services to businesses in the United Arab Emirates. The company is currently in registration. Until that completes, the person responsible for the personal data described here, and the party you would contract with, is Mikhail Volkov, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We will tell you if the contracting party changes. Contact: hello@involane.com.
Two categories of information:
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser; the figures you enter are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Contact details are processed on the basis of your consent, given when you write to us, and you may withdraw it at any time. Invoice data is processed to perform the assessment or the engagement you have asked for. We do not process either for marketing without asking you separately, and we do not run advertising or analytics on this site.
Invoice data is used solely to produce your readiness assessment and, where you engage us, to carry out the agreed remediation work. It is not sold, shared with other clients, or used to train any model. We build general classification knowledge from published code lists, not from your records: your item descriptions and approved tax positions stay with your engagement. The only circumstances in which it reaches anyone else are set out under Third parties below.
Invoice data submitted for a free readiness check is deleted within 14 days of the report being sent, unless you engage us. Where you engage us it is retained for the duration of the engagement and deleted within 14 days of the engagement ending. Each receipt and each deletion is recorded in an append-only journal, so the answer to «what do you still hold of ours» is a lookup rather than a recollection. You may ask us to delete it sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Data is held in access-controlled storage, and access is limited to those working on your assessment or engagement. We do not yet operate a secure upload channel, which is why we ask you not to send invoice data until we have agreed a transfer method with you. Where storage or processing takes place outside the United Arab Emirates, we will tell you before any data is transferred.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@involane.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the UAE Data Office under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Where an engagement requires an accredited service provider or another third party to process your data, we will identify that party to you before any data is transferred, and the transfer will be on terms no less protective than those set out here.
If this notice changes materially, the date above changes and, where we hold your contact details, we will tell you.
